The Oscar's are coming up soon. For a complete list of nominees, you can click here. But to make things a little more interesting, I teamed up with our Opinion Editor, Rebekah, to make predictions on who will win and who should win. My take is posted below, and Rebekah's will be coming shortly. And better yet, when the Oscars are said and done, we'll post who got the most right and who was completely wrong.
Leading Actor
Should Win: Daniel Day-Lewis, There Will Be Blood
Will Win: George Clooney, Michael Clayton
EXPLANATION: I think Michael Clayton will be a surprise winner and take a lot of people by shock in a lot of categories. It is politically charged and a Clooney film. It is Oscar gold.
Supporting Actor
Should Win: Javier Bardem, No Country for Old Men
Will Win: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Charlie Wilson's War
Leading Actress
Should Win: Ellen Page, Juno
Will Win: Laura Linney, The Savages
EXPLANATION: I really, really want Ellen Page to win. She was so good in Juno!
Supporting Actress
