Oscar Predictions: Rebekah's Picks

With the Academy Awards only days away, thanks to the end of the WGA strike, I shall now share my thoughts on who should win and who will win the lovely, golden statuettes. By the way...these are the correct predictions. ^_^

Leading Actor
Should Win: Johnny Depp, Sweeney Todd
Will Win: Daniel Day-Lewis, There Will Be Blood
EXPLANATION: Johnny Depp has forever been denied his well-deserved gold. And with Sweeney, the masterful Depp brought depth to an otherwise despicable character. However, Day-Lewis has swept other awards, including the SAGs, Golden Globes, and Broadcast Film Critics.

Great picks!

Unfortunately, there is no Oscar for "best casting." Bummer, huh?

*sigh*
